It's not often you get something free from a bank. It's even rarer for that something to be chocolate!

Here's the view from Mabel (our car) on the way back from the wedding. Beth took this 'cos I was driving.

We went to the wedding of Jo & Steven this weekend and it was a bloody good laugh. No shot for 11:59 a.m. today so here's a shot of people dancing at about 12 midnight.

When I popped out to run an errand this lunchtime I was momentarily taken aback by the presence of a seemingly abandoned baby chair outside my flat. I was even more shocked by how strongly Doolally Dog insisted that he should sit in it.

My journalism course has turned up and it's pretty darned hefty. Better get stuck in I guess. Award winning insights into the National cultural psyche don't just write themselves you know.

Due to the fact that I was so excited to have a few days work in London, I forgot to take my 11:59 picture today. Beth took this one for me when we got back to Hove station. It's some rather tired looking sandwiches in a fridge.

Tuesday

July 11th

A nice cup of tea and a biccie or two. Perfect.

There's two pictures today oh lucky reader, because this weekend Beth & I did a highly grown-up thing and went to a garden centre to buy pots and some mud to re-pot our indoor plants (Dave is looking a little tired and Megan just won't stay up straight - I think she's been at my vodka). Whilst there we treated ourselves to some new herbs. We got some thyme, lemon thyme, chives, mint, bay and a wee lavendar plant 'cos it smells nice. So I was out on the ol' balco this morning around 12 making sure they're settling in to their new home.

Also this morning, my freebie Marmite recipe mats turned up and they turned out to be even greater than I'd expected as they turned out to be in a rather natty little sleeve that magnetises to the fridge!

Sunday

July 9th

Beth & I were watching the wonderful Michael Palin on his 'Full Circle' expedition this morning. UKTV History shaow wall to wall Michael on Sundays, cool huh?

Saturday

July 1st

Well it's July now and I'm about to start a new thing this month. Last month I spoke of an idea I'd had for July and here it is, it's called the 11:59 project. I’m surrounded with photography machinery here, there’s one on my mobile telephone, I have a funky little digital Canon Ixus, we have a digital SLR and I have a Lomo LCA and two other 35mm cameras kicking about somewhere. With all this equipment around me I thought it would be interesting to take a photo of whatever it is I’m up to at 11:59 a.m. each day. Some have said the idea is a good one and others don’t seem too impressed (I’m a little worried, given my current lifestyle, that it may just turn out to be three weeks of ‘Homes Under the Hammer’ or repeated shots of the kettle) but it may be fun all the same.
So, without further ado, here’s Saturday’s snap and the first of 31.
